ADAMS STEPS UP
A few weeks ago Chris Hughton was sacked and Norwich City appointed Neil Adams as the successor. This is a step up for Adams as his previous role in the Premier League club was coaching the Under-18s team.
Chris Nughton had to step down from his position at the club after his side lost 1-0 against West Bromwich which was played on April 5 at Carrow Road. Nughton was sustaining criticism and pressure as he just could not get Norwich City out of the bottom relegation spots of the Premier League and his signings failed on making any kind of impact with the squad.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel arrived to the club with a price tag of €8.5 million but his presence has not been felt by his teammates as he has failed to live up to the expectations that Nughton had when he helped recruiting the 25 years old forward from the Portuguese club Sporting CP.
After being notified about the news of his appointment as the new coach of Norwich City by the italia uruguay probabilitá website, Adams expressed his satisfaction.
Adams said: "To say that I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity of managing Norwich City Football Club would be a massive understatement’’.
"People know what this club means to me, and so it goes without saying that we will be doing everything possible to ensure that we maintain our top-flight status for next season’’.
The change in managers arrives in a moment when Norwich will need to secure positive results in order to completely avoid the bottom relegation spots but it will be easier said than done as they will have to play against Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal during their last 3 matches in the season.
